Good food , good service and the money is worth it.

I think my dining experience at this restaurant would have been much more pleasant if the interior decoration was cleaner and more taken care of. The wall having leaking stains, the dirty floor and the ceiling full of pipes definitely lowered my appreciation of the place. I do like their minimalistic wood feel to the place, but it just looks a bit rushed to me. The service was overall patient and attentive. The waiters and waitresses were not really friendly, to us at least, but they were constantly checking up on us to see if everything was good and if we wanted to order more, which was great. The food was served rather quickly which is a plus, but the people bringing the food were just sort of tossing the plates onto the table without saying anything and they had an awfully unhappy expression. There were also a lot of mix ups for the stuff we ordered and who served us. We received quite a few plates we did not order and one of the waiters took half our order just to let us know he couldn't pass the order and we had to wait for one of his colleagues. This problem could easily be avoided if we were to order by ourselves through a website instead of having to rely on waiters and waitresses to order. As for the food, the quality of the meat is notably better than a lot of other AYCE places but, I still feel like the meat slices were lacking in flavours. Most cuts were served with a sauce to marinate the meat but it just didn't complement the meat well enough in my opinion. I did however really enjoy their cold noodle dish and their creme brulee. The cold noodles had a nice vinegary flavour and the creme brulee had a pleasant creamy texture. It was overall a decent dining experience but I feel like there are a lot of small things they could easily improve on to make the customer experience more pleasant and more memorable.
