The Gooderham Fountain graced this site from 1911, and was a well-known landmark and meeting place on the grounds. It was named after George H. Gooderham, President of the CNE Association from 1909 to 1911. H.R.H. The Princess Margaret officially opened the current fountain in 1958, which remains a focal point of the western end of the grounds.
This bridge and arch were the original entrance to the CNE before the princess gates opened. The arch was rebuilt 3 times.
Nice view and close to other attractions. Handy for cutting across the lakeshore on foot or by bike.
Great walk to see the history of the don river and its noisy neighbour.
Not much to this place. You can cover the entire grounds in 10 steps walking diagonally across the park.
Their is usually a bird feeder or a very Shabbir dressed man or women taken a break here.
I appreciate the place, it's better then more concrete in this jungle of a city.
