Definitely not worth the 48 dollars. Point of Sale system didn’t accept Apple pay, luckily I had my physical card. It immediately just felt like an underwhelming experience. The elevator to the top does a time travel sequence showing a concept of New York City from the early beginnings to the present. After arriving, you are greeted by a staff member who gives you a curtain peek and basic rules, no flash photography. You are then led through a corridor to a group of photographers who capture your picture that you can pay another $20 to have emailed or printed. One of the concierges was rude when I was being guided into the 360 observatory. I indicated it was just me alone. She confusingly asked me to step aside, then said you are with me. I did as told then she got upset saying, Sir, you are with me. I responded, you are confusing me, you said step aside, you are with me and see other people walking into the observatory. To this day, I still can’t make any sense of what she was directing me to do, but she definitely is not trained properly. After finally getting in, I just didn’t feel that excited to be honest. You are just seeing a 360 view of expensive tall real estate, you can see the Brooklyn bridge and the Statue of Liberty. There are refreshments are available for purchase along with a tour guide explaining places to go and things to do in New York. The ideal tourist for this would spend in total at least over $100. Overall, I just didn’t feel like there was much to consider memorable.

Panoramic view of New York from the 102 floor. If weather was good we could have better view but overall it was super seeing empire state, Statue of Liberty 🗽 and many other land mark. The skyline also looks marvellous. Right next to the observatory there is the memorial museum but it isn’t open on Tuesdays.
